Battlefield 2042 PC Beta code invalid on Origin?

Hi sir, this means you did not follow instructions properly.

Basically, since our suppliers cannot get cheap Battlefield 2042 Beta Origin codes, we've managed to find an alternative method to get our customers early beta access!

The activation method is NOT directly via Origin, this method gives you an EA Play subscription which will then automatically grant you to bf2042 early access!

Do not enter the code directly into Origin / EA.  Please follow our instructions to activate your code.

How does this actually work?

First you redeem the Xbox Game Pass For PC Key that we sent you, on the Microsoft Store.

The trick here, is that Xbox game pass for PC includes EA PLAY as one of the benefits.

EA PLAY members get automatic EARLY ACCESS to the battlefield 2042 PC Beta!

Why couldn't you just send me a key that will redeem in Origin?

Unfortunately distributors stopped sending out direct origin access codes.  As a result, we give you these keys which work as a workaround.

I've tried redeeming the code, but I get this error:
"Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page."
Please write back and quote the error message. We will solve it for you 

How to redeem your code properly, and play BF2042 Beta Early Access on EA / Origin on the PC:

first, redeem your game pass 3 month trial code that we sent you on windows 10:

press start -> microsoft store

press menu -> redeem code

enter your code and redeem it.

It will ask you for credit card details to begin charging you after 3 months. Just enter your details - don't worry, it will not charge you anything at all.

once the trial code is redeemed, you can cancel your subscription to avoid it charging you by following these steps:

press 'cancel subscription' on your xbox game pass. It will warn you that you will lose benefits after 3 months from now. Press 'turn off recurring billing' to cancel it.

now you don't need to worry about getting any charges in future :)

Now lets get to BF2042 beta on PC!

Download EA Desktop from here (it will not work on Origin)

once installed, log into ea desktop with your Ea / origin account details.

Now we have to link the game pass that you just redeemed to your EA account.

press start -> microsoft store

search for the app called 'xbox'

download the 'xbox' app.

open the 'xbox' app

search for 'ea play'

press 'view ea play games in xbox game pass'

press 'explore ea desktop'

You will be prompted to link your microsoft account to your EA account.

Once that's done, start EA desktop and you will notice that your EA play subscription is active, and you have access to Battlefield 2042 beta!

If you have linked your Microsoft account to your EA account, but don't see your EA play active, you may need to restart EA Desktop app.
